Therapy for Teens 13+
in Washington via Telehealth
When life feels heavy, confusing, or just too much, you don’t have to navigate it alone.
I provide a safe, supportive space for teens to explore their feelings, untangle stress and overwhelm, and discover their strengths. Together, we’ll work on the challenges of school, friendships, identity, and emotional intensity, building skills and insight that help you feel more steady, understood, and ready to move forward.

What to Expect
-
Reach Out: You (or your caregiver) can fill out the contact form or book a free consultation via the client portal.
Coordination: I’ll follow up within 24–48 hours to confirm scheduling and go over fees/insurance with you or your caregiver.
Paperwork: You (or your caregiver) will complete the digital consent forms, and you will have a few forms to fill out yourself so I can hear from you.
The Intake: We’ll meet on secure Zoom. We will discuss privacy (what stays between us vs. what parents need to know) and talk about what you’re hoping to get out of therapy.
The Vibe Check: At the end of the first session, we’ll check in to make sure you feel comfortable and that this feels like a good fit for you.
-
Your Space: 50–55 minutes via Zoom that belong entirely to you.
Your Pace: We can dive deep, or we can just vent about your week. You are in the driver's seat.
Privacy First: What we say stays between us (with very few safety exceptions), so you can be real without worrying about judgment.
Low Pressure: We can talk, use art, or play games to take the pressure off.
Real Skills: Learn hacks for dealing with school stress, panic, or that "overwhelmed" feeling.
Tangible Takeaways: We’ll come up with realistic ideas to try between sessions—no busy work, just things that help.

Therapy doesn't have to be stiff or awkward. I use a mix of approaches to make sure our time feels useful, safe, and actually interesting.
1. Respect & Autonomy
Feminist & Empowering: Your voice matters most here. We focus on your choices, your strengths, and your autonomy.
Neurodivergent-Affirming: Your brain is respected as it is. We stop fighting against your wiring and start working with it.
Trauma-Informed: We move at your pace. You are never forced to talk about things you aren't ready for.
2. More Than Just Talk
Activity-Based Therapy: We don't have to just sit and stare at each other. Whether it's music, art, strategy games, or creative projects, having something to do can make the difficult conversations easier to handle.
Systems Approach: We look at the big picture—school, family, friends, and culture—to see what is supporting you and what is getting in the way.
3. Practical Tools
CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy): We spot patterns in your thoughts and habits to figure out what is actually working for you and what isn't.
Mindful Self-Compassion: Learning how to be kinder to yourself when you mess up, rather than beating yourself up.
