Big feelings can be confusing for kids — and overwhelming for parents.

I create a warm, playful space where your child can express themselves, build skills, and feel supported as they grow. Serving children ages 6-12.

What to Expect

A young girl with black hair tied up with a pink hair tie, wearing a pink and white striped sleeveless top, smiling while reading a book. She is sitting on a wooden chair near a white table, with a tablet in front of her. The background features a window and light-colored walls.
    1. Reach Out: Fill out the contact form or book a free consultation via the client portal.

    2. The Caregiver Intake: Before I meet your child, I meet with you. This 50-minute caregiver session allows us to discuss history, concerns, and goals openly without little ears listening.

    3. The Child Intake: Your child’s first session is all about building trust. We play, chat, and keep it low-pressure so they feel safe coming back.

    4. The Rhythm: We establish a regular slot for your child’s 30-minute sessions, with periodic caregiver check-ins to track progress.

  • Focused, Engaging, & Effective My sessions are 30 minutes via Zoom. While traditional insurance-based therapy requires 53+ minutes (often too long for a child's attention span), my private-pay model allows us to work in a timeframe that actually fits your child’s brain.

    • No "Zoom Fatigue": We end on a high note while your child is still engaged and having fun.

    • Play-Based: We use games, art, storytelling, and movement. It doesn't feel like "work"—it feels like play with a purpose.

    • Developmentally Attuned: This duration prevents burnout and keeps therapy a positive space they look forward to entering.

Caregiver Involvement You are the most important person in your child's life. While the 30-minute session is for your child, I offer separate Caregiver Coaching sessions to help you translate what we do in therapy into your daily home life.

  • I believe therapy should be a place where kids feel seen, safe, and celebrated—not "fixed."

For Your Child: A Safe Space to Grow

    • Play as Language: Kids don't always have the words, so we use play. Whether it's drawing, building, or games, we process big feelings in a way that feels natural to them.

    • Trauma-Informed & Neuro-Affirming: I prioritize safety and choice. We move at your child's pace, honoring their unique wiring and needs.

    • Skill Building: We learn real tools for mindfulness and regulation, but we do it in a way that is simple, visual, and sticky.

For You (The Caregiver): A Partner in the Process

    • Collaboration: You aren't left in the dark. We work together to understand the "why" behind behaviors.

    • Attachment-Focused: We look at the big picture of your family system to see how we can strengthen connections and reduce stress at home.

  • I know life can be unpredictable, so I try to make scheduling as simple and flexible as possible. View the policies here.

All scheduling happens through the secure client portal—it’s the easiest way to book, cancel, or reschedule.

My goal is for therapy to feel safe, collaborative, and engaging— a space where your child can explore big feelings, practice new skills, heal from stress or trauma, and discover confidence that carries into their daily life.

  • Insurance: I am an Out-of-Network provider for child therapy.

    • Why? Opting out of insurance allows me to provide shorter, developmentally appropriate sessions (30 mins) that insurance often does not cover. It also allows us to focus on your child's unique needs rather than a diagnosis code.

    • Superbills: I can provide a monthly superbill for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
